This winter, we will have free Agronomy Workshops, Soils Clinics, Advanced Soils Clinics, and a New Technologies Clinic, as well! I know you are busy, but we have already been working hard to put together the best series of free Ag PhD Winter Workshops we’ve ever had. Please join us!
COAT DRIVE: We talked about this for the Ag PhD Field Day last summer, and I’m happy to announce we collected 707 coats at the Field Day, but we want to get to 5000 by winter’s end. Please bring an extra coat to the Winter Workshops! By the way, the organization we are working with said many of the coats they received at the Field Day were big (which they are always in need of) and many were brand new in the bag. Thank you!!
PLEASE PRE-REGISTER: Whether you pre-register or not, we love having you at our workshops. It really just helps us better prepare when we have an idea how many people are coming. There are a lot of preparations that go into this, including food, books, chairs, etc., so please pre-register. The bonus for you is when you pre-register, you get into the workshop quicker. Please read more on agphd.com to sign up and to learn more about any of our upcoming events.
Agronomy Workshops
Featured topics include dicamba & Xtend, Enlist, resistant weeds, results of the high yield plots at the Ag PhD Field Day, crop diseases including white mold & anthracnose & many others, insect issues, 2017 Ag PhD research info, and much more! You will also love the handy reference charts we’ve put together for you, which are included in the free agronomy manual you will receive. You do not want to miss the Agronomy Workshops, as we have so much great information about crop production!

Soils Clinics
You will learn how to read a soil test from start to finish. You will also learn how to make your own fertility recommendations and how much is needed of each individual nutrient for high yields. Most importantly, by the time you leave our Soils Clinics you will have some great tips on how to best invest your fertilizer dollars. It’s not necessarily about spending more. It’s about spending your money wisely. Think of how many thousands, if not millions, of dollars you invest in fertilizer. Are you spending that money the right way? How do you know unless you can read a soil test and make your own fertilizer recommendations? We will keep it simple for you, but this is powerful information you have to have as a farmer!
